The Problem
The performance of the braking system on a mountain bike is of extreme importance to a rider descending a mountain. Riding a bike down a mountain slope can be very rough, with nearly vertical drops, rocks and tree roots in the path, and brake control is critical to the speed and the safety of the rider. Analyzing Real World Brake Factors
